With its proprietary synthesis technology and process, carefully selected biorenewable/natural raw materials are used to synthesize the base fluid. The final Lube-V Biodegradable Hydraulic Fluid is then formulated by combining this unique base fluid made from biorenewable raw materials with special additives, which not only enhances the final biodegradability, but also boosts the fluids performance against scuffing, corrosion, and rust. That is why Lube-V HBD46 Hydraulic Fluid can be both biodegradable (made directly from biorenewable/natural materials) and fully synthetic (fully synthesized from raw materials).

2. What is difference between Lube-V Synthetic Fluids/Oils and other synthetic fluids/oils?
Not all synthetic fluids/oils are equal. This is especially true in USA. Over 10 years ago, ExxonMobil lost a lawsuit against BP Castrol, which allowed BP and so other companies to claim highly refined petroleum fluid (Group III oil) as “synthetic”. (Simply google “Mobil 1 Castrol synthetic lawsuit” for more details.) However, all the fluid professionals like our Lube-V experts know and can prove that the performance of highly refined Group III petroleum fluids/oils cannot compete with true synthetic fluids/oils.
